Challenge
Kurum Group's finance team was manually creating and tracking invoices across six business units using Excel spreadsheets. This created significant delays, VAT filing errors, and a lack of real-time financial visibility for management. Off-the-shelf accounting tools couldn't handle the group's multi-entity structure under UAE VAT regulations.
Solution
We built a bespoke invoice portal with entity management, automatic VAT calculation per UAE FTA rules, and PDF generation with digital signatures. A dashboard layer gives CFO-level visibility across all entities in real time. Integration with their bank feeds automates reconciliation. Invoice processing time dropped from 3 days to under 4 hours group-wide, with zero VAT filing errors in the following two quarters.
