Challenge
Standex Design needed a portfolio website that could compete with global design studios while reflecting their distinctive UAE aesthetic. The challenge was creating a visual-first experience that loaded fast enough for international clients, while presenting complex architectural projects in an engaging, story-driven format.
Solution
We built a full-screen, image-led portfolio site with smooth parallax scrolling and GSAP-powered transitions. Each project section uses a cinematic layout with before/after reveals. Performance was critical — all images are served as WebP with lazy loading, achieving a Lighthouse score above 92. The site became their primary lead generation channel within weeks of launch.
